Notes on data protection
Our data protection provisions are based on the German Telemedia Act (TMG) as well as the German Data Protection Act (BDSG). We guarantee, of course, the protection of your personal data. Personal data is information which can be used to determine the identity of a person. These include your name, address, telephone and fax number, for example, as well as your e-mail address and your IP address.
§ 1 Use of your data
Your personal data, collected as part of the purchase order procedure, are processed and used by us for transactions and – should it be necessary – also transmitted to third parties, such as suppliers in this context.
We pass on your personal data to third parties only to the extent necessary for completion of the transaction or if there is a legal obligation to pass on this data.
If you have given us your consent by marking the respective field on our Internet site, we will also process and use your personal data for our own internal statistical and marketing purposes (e.g. creating statistics or sending information about new products).
If you have given us your consent for processing and use for statistical and marketing purposes by marking the respective field, you can revoke your consent at any time without adhering to any form (e.g. by telephone or per e-mail).
§ 2 Use of your data as part of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of the Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called 'cookies' (= text files that are stored on your computer and make it possible to analyse your use of the website).
The information about the use of the website that is created by the cookie (including your IP address which is, however, made anonymous by means of the _anonymizeIp() method so that it cannot be assigned to your connection) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website in order to compile reports about the website activities for the website operators and to provide further services associated with the use of the website and the use of the Internet. Also, if necessary, Google will send this information to third parties where this is a legal requirement, or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.
Under no circumstances will Google bring your IP address into connection with other data from Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software. However, we must point out that in this case you might not be able to use all the functions of this website.

§ 3 Right of access, correction, deletion and locking of your data
On request, we will provide you with free access to the data stored about you in accordance with § 34 of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG).
Furthermore, you have the right to demand access to as well as deletion and locking of your stored personal data from us at any time.
Deletion is, however, only carried out by us taking into account all legal restrictions, especially the Regulation of Taxation (Abgabenordnung AO), and at the earliest when the contract with you has been completely fulfilled.
